I want you back home!

Juice less ink on a page,
capturing a lifetime in one still frame.
Always wondering, when the wind would come
to peel away the one thing
that kept me out of the cage of loneliness
She was wearing that red polo shirt
half-way buttoned up, collar popped
Her hair was raised,just enough
to her silver earrings dance in the buoyant day
Our whole lives, i dreamed of catching her.
Striving to take the bigger step.
But i guess that's how i learned to fail.
You were that cloud in the sky,
that never could be duplicated.
Slowly getting blown away.
your the one i need, for shade.
So Why did you leave me Thirsty; so that
everything tastes stale and dry.
Come back and block the sun.
shadow me from the sun that is to brilliant,
Like you did before.
